Independent Contractor Therapist

Contractor
Salary: Other
Application Deadline: Dec 31, 2026
Health Services

Position Overview

Radiance Counseling is seeking independently licensed therapists who are reliable, self-starting, and comfortable working autonomously.

This role is a good fit for clinicians who want the freedom of private practice with the structure of an established group. Radiance Counseling provides billing support, credentialing support, and EHR access so clinicians can focus on seeing clients.

Clinicians control their own schedules, availability, and caseloads. There is no day-to-day administrative assistant support, so therapists are expected to manage their own scheduling, client communication, documentation, and clinical responsibilities.

What We Provide

  • EHR access
  • Billing and claims support
  • Credentialing and payer enrollment support
  • Practice infrastructure
  • Referrals as available
  • Peer consultation and collaboration

What We Expect

Clinicians are expected to:

  • Manage their own schedule and caseload
  • Communicate reliably with clients and the practice
  • Complete timely clinical documentation
  • Maintain licensure, continuing education, and malpractice coverage
  • Practice independently within their scope
  • Seek consultation when appropriate
  • Share knowledge and expertise with other clinicians in the practice

Clinicians work independently, but not in isolation. Collaboration, consultation, and sharing expertise are an important part of the practice culture.

Qualifications

Applicants must be independently licensed in Ohio. LISWs, LPCCs, and psychologists are welcome to apply.

We are looking for clinicians who are:

  • Reliable, organized, and self-directed
  • Comfortable managing their own schedule and clients
  • Strong communicators
  • Able to maintain timely documentation
  • Willing to collaborate with colleagues
  • Comfortable using an EHR and telehealth technology

Clinical specialties and areas of expertise are encouraged, but not required. Clinicians are welcome to bring their own interests, populations, and treatment approaches to the practice.

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent-contractor position.

Clinicians receive 70% of collected session revenue.

Compensation varies based on caseload, payer reimbursement, and services provided.

Who This Role Fits Best

This position is ideal for clinicians who want:

  • Flexibility and control over their schedule
  • Autonomy over their caseload
  • Billing and credentialing infrastructure already in place
  • A straightforward way to plug into private practice and see clients
  • Professional connection without heavy oversight

To Apply

Please submit a résumé or CV along with a brief introduction describing your license and credentials you have, clinical interests, preferred populations, and desired caseload.
