Behavioral Health Therapist

Position Overview

New Vision Health & Wellness is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Mental Health Therapist to join our growing clinical team at our Euclid office. This position is ideal for a clinician who values meaningful community-based work, professional support, schedule flexibility, and the opportunity to help shape a growing behavioral health organization.

The therapist will provide individual, family, and group counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults. Our clients may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, behavioral concerns, life transitions, substance-use-related challenges, or barriers connected to limited access to care.

We are seeking someone who is committed to providing culturally responsive, person-centered, and trauma-informed services.

Primary Responsibilities

• Complete behavioral health assessments and assist with treatment planning.
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling services.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client’s needs and goals.
• Maintain an assigned caseload and provide consistent follow-up services.
• Complete progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, and other required documentation accurately and within established timeframes.
• Monitor client progress and update treatment goals as clinically appropriate.
• Coordinate care with case managers, healthcare providers, schools, community organizations, and other members of the client’s support system.
• Participate in clinical supervision, case consultations, staff meetings, and required training.
• Follow ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, Medicaid regulations, and agency policies.
• Respond appropriately to client crises and safety concerns.
• Support the continued growth and development of New Vision’s clinical programs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related behavioral health field.
• Current Ohio license or license eligibility as an LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, MFT, or IMFT.
• Ability to provide services in person at our Euclid office.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to serving clients from diverse cultural, economic, and social backgrounds.
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and credentialing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing services to children, adolescents, families, or adults in a community behavioral health setting.
• Experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, substance use, re-entry populations, or individuals facing barriers to care.
• Experience completing Medicaid-compliant behavioral health documentation.
• Independently licensed clinicians are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

Competitive compensation based on license level, experience, schedule, and employment arrangement. Compensation and productivity expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
