Still Waters Counseling is a rapidly growing Christian counseling practice seeking compassionate, licensed mental health professionals to join our team. We are currently hiring:

Applicants must hold an active, unrestricted Ohio professional license and be authorized to independently practice within the State of Ohio.

Our practice serves a high volume of individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children seeking quality mental health services from a Christian, faith-integrated perspective. We are looking for clinicians who are passionate about providing clinically excellent, evidence-based counseling while respectfully incorporating biblical principles when requested by clients.

Position Highlights

• 1099 Independent Contractor position

• In-person office locations in Poland and Salem, Ohio
• Established referral base with high client demand
• Administrative support including scheduling, billing, credentialing, and insurance processing
• Marketing and referral support provided
• Freedom to build your preferred caseload and schedule
• Collaborative, supportive team environment

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, family, and/or child counseling
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Maintain ethical and legal standards of practice
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide telehealth and/or in-person counseling services
• Collaborate professionally with other providers when appropriate
• Integrate Christian principles into treatment when desired by the client

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Ohio license as one of the following:
  • LPCC
  • LPCC-S
  • LISW
  • LISW-S
  • LMFT
  • LMFT-S
• Ability to practice independently in Ohio
• Professional liability insurance
• Strong clinical documentation skills
• Commitment to ethical counseling practices

Preferred:

• Passion for faith-based counseling
• Experience with children, adolescents, couples, trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, grief, or marriage counseling
• EMDR, CBT, DBT, Gottman, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Play Therapy, or other specialty training
• Previous telehealth experience
