Mental Health Therapist 

Our Dayton (Montgomery County) team is seeking an engaging, passionate, and experienced Therapist to provide individual, group and family counseling in the office, and/or community. Competitive pay based on licensure/education

Starting pay:  $26.00 and up

 

Essential Functions:
•    Provides initial and ongoing clinical diagnostic assessment of client’s needs and documents level of care on a regular basis.
•    Works with multidisciplinary teams to develop and maintain treatment plans.
•    Provides individual and group psychotherapy services to clients and families in to stabilize symptoms of a mental health disorder.
•    Documents services with basic understanding of compliance and billing for regulatory bodies. 
•    Provides crisis intervention when needed.
•    Provides covered services that fall within their scope of practices.
•    Initiates services within the expected timeframe as set by agency standards.
•    Completes progress notes and service documentation per agency standards. 
•    Meets agency monthly utilization requirements. 

Qualifications:
•    Professional licensure in State of Ohio as a Counselor, or Social Worker
•    Masters in Counseling or Social Work Preferred
•    One year of professional social service experience preferred
•    Valid driver’s license and good driving record
•    Knowledge of or willingness to learn and apply trauma-informed care principles
