Seeking Independent Contractor Clinicians (LPCC / LISW)

Location: Ohio (primarily virtual; limited in-person optional)
Payments to Clinicians: 60/40 fee split (60% for clinician), increasing to 65/35 after one year
Schedule: Flexible, part-time to full-time

Solstice Psychotherapy Services is a growing group practice committed to thoughtful, ethical, and sustainable mental health care. Our model is designed for clinicians who value autonomy, professional trust, and supportive infrastructure, without micromanagement or productivity pressure.

This role is ideal for fully licensed clinicians who enjoy working independently while having access to administrative support, consultation when needed, and a collaborative practice environment.

The Role

We are seeking fully licensed LPCCs and LISWs to join the practice as independent contractors. Clinicians in this role typically:

• Maintain a consistent caseload (generally 10+ clients per week)
• Work primarily via telehealth, with the option for limited in-office sessions
• Retain ownership of their client relationships and records, including continuity of care if they leave the practice
• Practice with a high degree of clinical autonomy, with optional consultation and monthly check-ins available

This is not a training or supervision-based role. We are looking for clinicians who are comfortable managing their own clinical work within a supportive practice structure.

What Clinicians Are Responsible For

• Providing high-quality clinical services
• Managing their own schedules and documentation
• Maintaining professional liability insurance and active licensure
• Practicing independently within scope and ethical standards

Payment

• 60/40 fee split (60% for clinician)
• Increase to 65/35 split after one year with an average caseload of 15+ sessions per week
• Biweekly payments based on fees collected
• No non-compete clauses; clinicians retain their client relationships and records

Ideal Fit

This role may be a great fit if you:

• Are fully licensed and in good standing
• Prefer autonomy with access to consultation as needed
• Want a consistent caseload without managing your own marketing
• Are comfortable working primarily in a virtual setting

This role may not be the best fit if you are seeking supervision, a highly structured environment, or only a small caseload.

While we are open to contracting clinicians with a variety of specialties, we are especially seeking contractors who have expertise in:

• Eating disorders
• LGBTQ+ affirmative care
• EMDR (trained or certified)
