*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals in need and making a positive impact on their lives. *Responsibilities*
- Facilitating individual, group, and psychoeducational sessions with clients and/or family members, in accordance with state regulations and Joint Commission standards.
- Assessing clients using psychometric screeners or other evidence-based assessment tools (i.e., PHQ-9, GAD-7, etc.) and diagnosing clients for substance use and/or mental health disorders using the most updated Diagnostic Statistical Manual (DSM).
- Collaborating with the client in order to develop a written treatment plan that is individualized, client-centered, and recovery oriented and includes goals and measurable objectives.
- Providing counseling services specified in the client’s treatment plan.
- Reviewing clients throughout the treatment episode according to ASAM criteria, to determine the need for continued services or discharge/transfer.
- Developing the client discharge/transfer plans to ensure movement to the appropriate levels of care are successful.
- Contacting referral sources, providing case consultation and coordination with referral sources.
- Documenting all counseling and education services, assessments, reassessments, referrals and follow-up in the client's medical record, and providing appropriate signatures and dating of such entries, including those made in electronic records.
*Qualifications*
- Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Health Related field and
- Licensed in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy required (i.e. LISW-S, LPCC-S, LMFT, Clinical Psychologist)
- Clinical supervision certification/ licensure required
- 1 years, at minimum, of supervisory experience required.
- ASAM and DSM experience and knowledge
- 2 years of Mental Health and/or Substance Use Treatment experience required, preferably in an outpatient setting.
- Experience with startup organizations is preferred.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency.
