About Us: Balance Counseling is a growing, client-focused practice providing a supportive and collaborative environment for both clients and clinicians. We specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and treatment for both adults and adolescents with mental health and substance use disorders. We have xpanding our services to include Rapid Resolution Therapy and Ketamine-assisted therapy.

We are seeking highly qualified Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC) or Licensed Independent Social Workers (LISW) to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapies.
• Treat both adults and adolescents with mental health disorders and/or substance use issues.
• Offer specialized therapies, including Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, DBT, Rapid Resolution Therapy and Ketamine-assisted therapy (training provided as needed).
• Conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapy for clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive, high-quality care.
• Maintain professional boundaries while offering empathetic, solution-focused support to clients.
• Refer clients to higher levels of care when necessary.
• Maintain thorough and compliant documentation as per state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Active LPCC or LISW licensure in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably with adolescents and/or adults.
• Experience or strong interest in treating substance use and mental health disorders, particularly in adolescents and adults.
• Familiarity with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques
• Rapid Resolution Therapy, or Ketamine-assisted therapy is preferred (training available).
• Strong communication, emotional regulation, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
